By definition, this man is a true Patriot–a proud supporter or defender of his or her country and its way of life.
In today’s America, we need more people like this man. People who’re unafraid of ruffling the politically correct feathers of the progressive socialist flock.
It’s past time for citizens of this country to pull the wool from their eyes, pull their heads out of the sand, get out of their idealogical denial, and see the threat currently posed to the Constitution of the United States of America.
For the past 233 years the United States has had one Constitution and one government, characterized by stable, peaceful transfer of power from one Administration to another…one Congress to another. America became the most prosperous nation, with the highest standard of living and the most innovative people who’ve enjoyed the greatest personal liberties in the history of the world because of this stability.
The current Congress and Administration are putting all this in tremendous peril. We now face a grave threat that should strike fear into the heart of any sovereign nation: the complete and utter loss of our political stability. We must acknowledge the distinct possibility that adherence to our Constitution will be foresaken. Should this eventuality come to fruition, we’ll cease to be a great nation ruled by law, and become exactly that against which our Founding Fathers revolted. A citizenry of subjects ruled by the whims of flawed human beings.
We cannot, dare I say must not allow this to happen. There’s more at stake here than the life and times of any single individual. Together, as Patriots, we must support and defend our country and our way of life. Remember the words found in our Declaration of Independence:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has come to us. Whether we asked for it or not, this time is our time. Let’s make the most of it while we still can.
At this moment in history, there’s no substitute for liberty. There’s no substitute for our Constitution in the defense of that liberty. It’s imperative that the shredding of this document be stopped. It’s inherent upon Patriotic Americans to stand up and remind our government that their power is derived from the consent of the governed.
So help us God.
