The Tea Party’s Work Has Just Begun

August 8, 2012

Republican presidential challenger Mitt Romney attacked occupy Oval Office, aka Barrack Obama, for waiving portions of the welfare-to-work law.  At a Chicago campaign stop, Romney pledged to reverse the July order that disembowels welfare reform.  “We will end a culture of dependency and restore a culture of good, hard work,” Romney said.

Naturally, White House press secretary Jay Carney called Romney’s charges “blatantly dishonest.”  Carney’s misrepresentative spin continued: “This administration’s policy will strengthen the program by giving states the opportunity to employ more effective ways to help people get off welfare and into a job.”

For their part, a new Romney campaign ad accurately asserts that “Obama guts welfare reform” saying “Under Obama’s plan, you wouldn’t have to work and wouldn’t have to train for a job. They just send you your welfare check.”

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/08/07/us-usa-campaign-romney-idUSBRE8760AQ20120807

Of course, to White House “progressives” it does not matters that The Health and Human Services Department directive permits states to ask for waivers from the work requirement found in the existing welfare law.  They are going to attack, smear, invent and misrepresent every fact necessary to convince low information voters to cast their ballots against Romney, no matter what.

Coincidently, the current White House occupant is now blaming state and local governments, as well as Congress for the 14.1 percent black unemployment rate.

“There are a lot more things we could be doing. To get them done, we need cooperation of Congress. We got the payroll tax portion of [my American Jobs Act] done, but what we didn’t get done is the assistance I was proposing to the states to help them hire back teachers, firefighters, and first responders, because one of the weakest parts of this recovery has been state and local government hiring.  Given the weaknesses of the construction industry, the American Jobs Act proposed that we rebuild schools, roads, bridges, airport, and ports. That would provide small businesses with opportunities as contractors and vendors in this rebuilding process. Again, Congress needs to act.”  Obama stated.

Were George W. Bush, Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, economic troubles in the Eurozone, the Arab Spring, a Japanese tsunami or ATMs and ticketing kiosks suddenly unavailable for blame?

Obama then took for granted a big part of his core constituency by saying “I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America.”

If one is to believe the pathological wealth redistributor in thief, he and his policies are never to blame for any of the existing malaise.  If only all those poor unfortunate souls who are not part of the “progressive” “intellectual elite” were capable of understanding.  Then his “progressive” holiness could explain to them how his policies are great…for the hundred thousandth time.

The idea that America is in deep financial trouble and that the current “progressive” administration is intentionally inflicting damage upon America and its economy is supported by the enactment of a seemingly endless string of “progressive” policies that run 180 degrees counter to how America and its economy are designed to work.

But one politician, no matter how radical, fringe, extreme, anti-American, “progressive” they are is solely to blame for the current situation.

Thanks to “go along to get along” “establishment” Republicans who abandoned Conservative principles and co-opted the “progressive” Democratic tactic of bringing home the bacon to buy votes; from January 2007 to January 2011 Republicans were in the legislative minority.  After the 2008 election, they were so outnumbered they were powerless to stop a “progressive” agenda bent on advancing an extreme, fringe, radical, anti-American wish list “progressives” spent decades concocting.

Then Americans woke up and elected Republicans of a more Conservative stripe to a majority in the House and reduced the “progressive” majority in the Senate.

But the Tea Party’s work is not done.  It is only now beginning.

“progressives” and their policies have been assailing America for over a century.  Based on what has happened since the 2010 election, expectations that more than 100 years of damage will be reversed in one election cycle are unrealistic.

For some Tea Party Americans, Mitt Romney might not be their first pick for president.  At least Romney is an American who knows first-hand how to achieve success in business.  Better still, Romney was not raised overseas by Communists.  This is a far cry from the current clueless affirmative action clown who between rounds of golf is working to “fundamentally transform” America into a Socialist democracy.  Besides, Romney’s campaign is showing a willingness to fight, something John McCain’s 2008 campaign failed to demonstrate.

Americans need to stay focused, remain diligent and work hard to elect Conservative Americans to every office possible.  It could be the White House, the U.S. Senate, Congress, Governor, Mayor or the local dog catcher.

Keep the faith and get out the American vote!

What a Tea Party Win Really Means for Washington

August 1, 2012

Despite having been outspent $19 million to $7 million, with help from Tea Party grassroots organizers and with the backing of Tea Party stars Sarah Palin and Senator Jim DeMint, Conservative Republican Ted Cruz emerged victorious over “establishment” backed Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst in the Texas U.S. Senate runoff.

Which led the ever so “principled” editors at Yahoo News to ponder: “What a tea party candidate’s win means for Washington.”

Citing Amy Walter, ABC News Political Director, Michael Falcone, Chris Good and Elizabeth Hartfield chose to spin their “news reporting” by employing a well-know, oft used “progressive” tool: wild, unsubstantiated speculation. “Regardless of who wins control of the Senate this November, we know that the upper body in Washington is going to be as polarized and uncompromising as ever.”

It would have been remarkably refreshing had these ABC News/Yahoo News hatchet wielders directed their remarks towards the Democratic Senate majority, currently being “led” by the fearlessly nonpartisan ways of that universally acclaimed, history making legend Harry Reid of Nevada.  Reid must be totally fearless to have, in the most polarizing and uncompromising spirit imaginable, dutifully blocked all attempts by the House to do their job and govern.  Certainly, history will long remember Harry Reid.  After all, how many Senate Majority Leaders in U.S. history have managed to suppress all bipartisan attempts at legislation while simultaneously going three plus years without passing a budget required by law?

Legendary!

Unfortunately in utterly predictable fashion the upshot of their remarks came down to one sentence: “Ultimately, it also means that even if Romney is elected President he can’t expect to win votes on ‘team spirit’ alone.”

This from a “news” organization that notes a “sharp decline in terror attacks after bin Laden death”.  Of course, having the White House instruct the Department of Homeland Security to describe the Ft. Hood terrorist attack as “workplace violence” couldn’t possibly have had anything to do with a “purely objective” conclusion.  How could there possibly be any terror attacks to count, now that they are “officially” referred to as “man caused disasters”?  How could anyone deny a conclusion that is so obviously beyond all reproach?  Of course it is virtually impossible that the true intent of this “news headline” was to subliminally plant the thought that the “progressive” leading from behinder in chief is keeping America safe.  Perish the thought!

The same “news” people who ask “can Mitt Romney end the gaffe track?”  Of course, since graduates of “progressive” Party Pravda indoctrination camps, aka “journalism school” were rudely shouting questions at the GOP candidate while he was overseas visiting locations deserving of great respect, makes it easy to understand how Pravda devotees would be quite upset by their new attack target not falling for the bait.  What better way to strike back at Romney for not playing ball than to smear him with internet “headlines” where millions of potential “progressive” lemming useful idiot voters who can’t name their Senators or Congressional members but know the name of every lowest common denominator reality TV “star” might actually be persuaded to vote against “his holiness saint barrack’s” chief opponent?

What else would one expect from a “news” outlet that continues to insist that occupy Wall Street is “spiritual” in nature?  Yahoo News opines:  “Last Spring, as the Occupy movement struggled, vainly, to recapture its lost energy in New York and elsewhere, in Oakland it remained vital.”  The big headline was:  “How Oakland became the spiritual capital of Occupy Wall Street.”  It doesn’t take a member of the self-imagined self-appointed member of the “intellectual elite” to figure out why Oakland would be ground zero for the anti-American, pro Communist fringe leftist violence loving group.  Their daddy Van Jones has long based his anti-American community organizing efforts in Oakland.  Remember Jones?  He was the “green jobs czar” for the forked tongued, two faced, back-stabbing pathological liar currently occupying the Oval Office who had to be dismissed because he was a 9/11 truther.  Never mind that Jones is also a self-avowed Communist who now just happens to be working for deep pocketed long time anti-American fringe leftist financier George Soros.

The fact of the matter is, the anti-America, pro Communist fringe leftists have tried to impose their agenda upon America and Americans are rejecting it.  They are rejecting it so resoundingly that they are electing House Reps and Senators with the Conservative credentials needed to ensure that Mitt Romney doesn’t drift leftwards and go soft on repealing the radical fringe leftist agenda.  An agenda that is so openly hostile to America that every branch needs to be cut off and every root needs to be dug up until only a useless rotted stump remains.  The rotted stump that is to be preserved as a reminder to future generations the consequence of electing “progressives” to office.

American Energy Means American Recovery

July 13, 2012

There is widespread consensus that America needs to become energy independent. America’s ever growing dependence on foreign energy puts her at ever-greater risk in a world that is increasingly unstable. Given the current political upheavals in the Middle East, this reality is slapping America in the face with increasing costs at the pump, which are contributing to the cost of goods and services to consumers.

“progressives” feel a compulsive obsessive need to force Americans into accepting their “green energy” fantasy. Three plus years of actions taken by the current administration and fellow “progressives” show a willingness to achieve this end at all costs, come what may. Stiffer standards on auto emissions and mileage, crushing EPA regulations on energy providers, opposing development of domestic energy resources, copious deficit spending on inefficient and noncompetitive solar, wind, tide and bio-fuel technologies litter the landscape of the White House’s failed energy policy.

While such “progressive” measures theoretically “promote” development of “green” energies, they dictate a highly impatient, frantic pace that is crippling the American economy at a time of tremendous fragility. They force the issue at the worst possible time.  During a stubborn, recovery resistant recession that is quite possibly teetering on the brink of a full-blown depression.

America’s public and industrial infrastructures are based on the use of petroleum, natural gas and coal, as well as limited nuclear power. Nearly every vehicle that is driven on American roads burns gasoline or diesel fuel. Public transportation relies on fossil fuels as well. Natural gas, heating oil and coal are used in furnaces to heat homes and places of business. Coal and nuclear power generate electricity, which powers countless devices; the uses of which are taken for granted every day. Coal, natural gas and petroleum products power American’s industrial complex, the base of the economic engine. America’s economy depends heavily on existing energy. The methods of providing and consuming energy are deeply ingrained into American business, industry, home life and recreation.

Expecting to change the methods of powering a society of over 300 million people overnight is impractical. It will take time to finish such a task. More time than most of the general public realizes. While whatever conversions that make sense are taking place, what energy is going power manufacturing, delivering and installing windmills, solar panels, turbines, generators and the power grid needed to provide “green” energy to the public? Will it be the “green” energy that is still under development? No. The energy that’s going to be used will be traditional fuels.

Why does America continue to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on foreign energy while there is undeveloped energy in its own country? Why doesn’t America keep those billions of dollars at home, in its own cash starved economy?

At a time when millions of Americans are looking for work and its economy is starving for liquid capital, why doesn’t America take advantage of its own wealth of natural resources? Why aren’t Americans drilling for oil and natural gas or digging for coal? Why aren’t people working building refineries and power plants? Why aren’t people delivering gas, coal and natural gas to consumers? How many peripheral jobs will be created in the process? For every new oil well, power plant, refinery or mine there will be new roads built, followed by restaurants, stores and housing. All generated by the only force capable of powering America’s economic recovery: the private sector.

In the interest of national security and job creation, America should put Americans back to work delivering American energy to Americans. This is the best way to become energy independent. Forcing “green energy” on America overnight will only lead to economic destruction.

White House Rebuffs Calls for a Special Prosecutor

June 13, 2012

Despite calls from Senators John Cornyn, John McCain and Lindsey Graham, the Justice Department continues to resist calls for appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate national security leaks said to be coming from inside the White House. The Senators view Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to appoint two Justice Department legal insiders to the investigation as insufficient.

The White House remains in support of Holder. The official word from press secretary Jay Carney is that “there is no need for a special counsel. These things have consistently been investigated when that’s appropriate”.

Holder’s troubles are not isolated to the national security leaks investigation. Holder is also under legal attack for the failed Fast and Furious firearms fiasco. Despite Holder’s possibly facing contempt of Congress charges next week, Carney relayed the “absolute confidence” the White House still has in Holder.

This “no special prosecutor” position stands in stark contrast to the position held by then Senators obama and Biden when it came to investigating the Iraq war policy. Or when it came to calling for the firing of U.S. attorneys. Or reviewing conditions at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. And especially when it came to discovering who leaked Valerie Plame and Joseph Wilson’s identities. All of which took place during George W. Bush’s presidency.

Not to mention special prosecutor Archibald Cox, who was appointed to investigate the Watergate scandal.

It would seem that, as usual, when the left commits perceived offenses, it’s perfectly appropriate for them to police themselves. But when there are similar perceptions of offenses committed by those on the right, that’s a completely different story.

Holder’s stonewalling of the Fast and Furious congressional investigation is not only straight out of the Richard M. Nixon play book, it is more egregious. Although ultimately the ongoing investigation resulted in the removal of a sitting President from office for his role in the Watergate burglary and ensuing cover-up, nobody died due to decisions made or actions taken by Nixon and his lieutenants.

It is alleged that by allowing hundreds of highly sophisticated automatic weapons to walk across the U.S./Mexican border and into the hands of criminal drug cartels, the Holder led Department of Justice contributed to the death of hundreds of Mexican civilians and murder of U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry. This is an extremely serious charge. The truth must be uncovered. If this allegation is true, Eric Holder should go to prison, instead of being allowed to harass multiple state governments with frivolous, racist lawsuits. To hold to the notion that Eric Holder is capable of dispassionate logic in pursuit of fact in the face of such a clear conflict of interest is incongruous.

That the White House is standing behind Holder in stone walling the cover up of information is not surprising. When are the college records, medical records, travel records, etc of the current White House occupant going to be brought to light?

Will obama and Holder agree to appoint a special prosecutor? If they do and the going gets dicey, is the United States going to be submitted to a replay of the Archibald Cox firing drama? Will there be the Saturday Night Massacre, part two?

It would not be in the least bit surprising to see the White House let this drag out through the summer as a means of distracting from their own dismal record. It would also be true to form to see Holder go the way of many of obama’s once political allies. The moment Holder’s presence becomes too much of a political liability to the full time, win at all costs candidate he will become persona non grata faster than you can say: “Our long national nightmare is over”.

NEWS FLASH: Lindsey Graham is a “top conservative”!

June 12, 2012

Jonathan Karl, Richard Coolidge, Gregory Lemos and Sherisse Pham, part of the collective, useful spokes-tools employed by ABC News and the “progressive” Party Pravda’s online misinformation outlet known as Yahoo News are at it again.

To begin with, this “progressive” misinformation’s “headline” is pure, pre-fabricated nonsense that reads:

“Top conservative says read my lips: Don’t sign ‘no new tax’ pledge”.

This “headline” is garbage.

First of all, save for his consistently patriotic support for the United States military and for American troops, Senator Lindsey Graham is about as moderate as Republicans come. Some Conservatives might characterize him as a “progressive” Republican. Even more may openly label him a RINO. The thought of his being a “top conservative” comes from the minds of institutionalized “progressive” leftists, not reality. Secondly, not once in the interview does Graham ever utter the words “read my lips”. Again, readers are witnessing fabricated “progressive” wishful fiction, not fact. Furthermore, never did he say “don’t sign the ‘no new tax’ pledge. Not even once. Not ever.

The entire headline is a total lie. It’s a complete falsehood. The “news” presented in this “headline” is “progressive” fabrication that goes light years beyond the outer limits of “spin”.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/power-players-abc-news/top-conservative-says-read-lips-don-t-sign-101721355.html

Thanks to a “headline” that’s contains not one ounce of truth, the article is automatically discredited in the minds of informed voters, those who are obviously not the target audience of Karl, Coolidge, Lemos and Pham.

What Graham did say is that he is willing to be flexible on applying one fourth of revenue collected by the IRS through elimination of tax loopholes and subsidies towards reducing the nations nearly $16 trillion in debt. The other three fourths would continue to follow the No New Tax Pledge’s formula for applying such revenues solely towards tax cuts. For Graham to accept this compromise, Democrats would be required to respond in kind to work in a bipartisan fashion towards reducing the national debt via “entitlement” program reforms.

That such inaccurate “reporting” could be considered, even for a fleeting moment, as real journalism, that these liars are actually getting paid to propagandize pure fiction as fact shows how low are today’s standards for journalistic integrity. This “headline” is going to give a large number of low-information, “sound bite news voters” a completely incorrect image of reality. It’s not even close to being true. All visible evidence points to clear intent to mislead misinform and indoctrinate masses of online readers.

How about giving this story a more objective headline, a headline that reflects the truth while accurately respects the content of the story? One more like: Graham Willing to Discuss Tax, Entitlement Compromise.

How difficult was that?

Perhaps for self imagined, self-appointed members of the “progressive” intellectual elite, it’s just too simple for their brilliant minds.

Was “The Private Sector is Doing Fine” Really a Gaffe?

June 9, 2012

When obama uttered the words “the private sector is doing fine” speculation ran rampant, declarations occurred and questions abounded.

Obedient spokes-fools within the “progressive” Party Pravda remained largely mum, dutifully neglecting or downplaying the story. Conservatives pounced on the statement, speculating aggressively about obama’s lack of perceptive abilities while declaring it to be the biggest gaffe in his presidency. Questions were asked as to why standard operating procedure had been abandoned and a presidential press conference was being held in the White House when no major announcement was being made.

That obama followed up the initial remark by saying the problem with America’s economy is a loss of government jobs at the state and local level suggests various possible explanations. One is that it’s a sign of his commitment to growing government as the sole solution to each and every one of the world’s problems. Another is that he is so out of touch with economic reality that the remark really was a gaffe.

But there is at least one other possibility to consider.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is coming under heavy congressional scrutiny for his role in the failed Fast and Furious gun running scandal. Hard questions are being raised on both sides of the aisle about the risks posed to the country through national security leaks possibly emanating from the White House. obama’s been accused of allowing the leaks to occur for personal political gain. There are ongoing discussions and mounting evidence regarding obama’s membership in Chicago’s extremist “New Party”, coupled with continuing avoidance of or denials about it among obama’s political apparatus. There is major embarrassment about obama’s “entire grassroots machinery” being resoundingly drubbed in the Wisconsin recall election. There is growing “progressive” left wing extremist frustration with obama’s perceived inability to deliver on his pledge to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”.

Go back to the question: Why was a presidential new conference being held when there was no major announcement being made? Even given that there was only the remotest possibility that the “progressive” Party Pravda might actually uncover a hitherto undiscovered ounce of journalistic integrity within itself and ask hard questions on a myriad of topics, why was this press conference being held?

Is it possible that the biggest gaffe in obama’s presidency was committed on purpose? That it was an intentional diversion? A coldly calculated politically driven distraction away from other bad news that had been dominating the weekly news cycle?

Was it an accident that it occurred on a Friday morning, contributing to the likelihood that the weekend political talk show discussions will focus on this rather than the myriad of other, more damaging news about obama’s failed attempt to be the nation’s Chief Executive?

If so, it was an extreme abuse of the power of the presidency.

Given that this “gaffe” originated from a once humming along firing on all cylinders well oiled political machine that has repeatedly engaged in “the art” of misrepresentation, distortion, distraction, diversion and smoke and mirror parlor trickery, is pondering such questions an unreasonable activity?

With obama in the White House, do you now consider such a line of questioning to be unpatriotic?

Do you really?

You may wish to reconsider come November 6th.

Europe Won’t Work in America

June 8, 2012

Spain’s economy is under such duress that the country is prepared to request a 40 billion Euro cash injection from the Euro zone this weekend. The request comes after Fitch Ratings reduced Spain’s credit by three notches on Thursday. This move will make Spain the fourth country to need a bailout since the European debt crisis began. The Spanish banking sector’s weakness and contagion from Greece’s debt crisis have put Spain’s economy in such a precarious position that the International Monetary Fund reported a need for 90 billion Euros to entirely cleanse Spain’s banking sector.

Much has been said about the problems of Greece and how those problems will impact the Eurozone. However, the size of Spain’s economy is over four times that of Greece’s. Spain’s 11.5% share of the Euro zone’s GDP has a far greater impact on European finances than does Greece’s 2.5%.

What the world is witnessing is the collapse of the European socialist economic model; the failure of government dependency. As more people become dependent on government, fewer people are left to pay the cost.

But it goes beyond simply spending other people’s money. The socialist entitlement mentality makes people less productive. As more and more people become less and less productive, an ever-smaller minority of productive people become responsible for shouldering the burdens of a completely lopsided, unfair system. When a tiny number of productive people are required to deprive themselves of the fruits of their own labor in order to finance the lives of the remaining population, where is the incentive for them to produce?

If that is not enough, reliance on a big government nanny state makes people less responsible for themselves, less self-reliant. That is the antithesis of the American way of life.

When European settlers colonized the New World, they left the security of Europe behind in favor of North America’s unknown wilderness. They left homes, family, friends and country behind in exchange for an opportunity to build better lives for themselves. They were freed from the constraints of Europe’s restrictive class system.  They openly rejected the European way by leaving.

When the British Monarchy deemed to re-impose that system on Britain’s thirteen North American Colonies, that attempt was adamantly and thoroughly rejected. Hence the Declaration of Independence, the American Revolution and the founding of the United States of America.

When America’s pioneers ventured west to traverse the Great Plains and cross the Rocky Mountains they were completely self reliant. They took care of themselves. They didn’t have, want, or need a big nanny state government to take care of them from cradle to grave.

This is the stuff of which America is made.

Because it gives them control over “the masses”, “progressives” have long sought to fashion America after the European socialist model, to make Americans more government dependent. There was FDR with the New Deal and Social Security. LBJ gave America the Great Society, Welfare Programs and Medicare.  Now obama forces upon an unwilling America the crown jewel of European style socialism; government controlled medicine.

Every time obama holds a press conference he sounds exactly the way he has always sounded: he inherited the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. his policies are working, but need more time. Congress needs to quit stalling and enact more of his policies. The private sector is doing fine but to grow the economy government needs to spend more money to create more government jobs at the state and local level.

Coming as it does on the heels of the Wisconsin recall election, where such policies were rejected, this shows precisely how out of touch obama is with the private sector, how the economy works, American history and the nature of America’s people…and with reality.

Europe won’t work in America. Neither will an out of touch narcissist who insists on imposing a long rejected European system upon America.

obama, you are fired.

Momentum Goes to Republicans

June 6, 2012

For the first time in US history, a sitting governor survived a recall attempt. The Wisconsin recall magnified a microcosm of American society and highlighted the contentious mood of the national debate over jobs, budgets, and how to best trigger America’s economic recovery.

The results in Wisconsin are especially revealing when examining the mood of American voters. That mood will play a critical role in determining November’s presidential election results. Wisconsin is one of several crucial swing states that could decide which economic direction American voters choose for their country.

In a traditionally liberal State, Governor Scott Walker ran as and has been governing as a fiscal Conservative. He stood his ground, staking the Governor’s mansion on defense of Conservative economic principles

The nation was watching closely. Neighboring states were too. Voters in a state obama won by double digits in 2008 had chosen to follow a different path in 2010. That decision to change course was re-confirmed by the outcome of the 2012 re-call attempt.

The looming national fight is real and based on substance. The upcoming presidential election will not be just about personalities. For obama, who’s personal polling numbers remain high, this is not particularly good news.

Unions formed as a way for workers to unite and push back against abusive employment practices. If public employees see the government they’re working for as abusive, there is a real problem. Either that government should be removed from office or the unions should curtail their expectations. Perhaps both. In Wisconsin, voters sided with the government. A Conservative government

A growing number of voters nationwide now believe public sector unions have gone too far and are milking a corrupt system. This is to the detriment of the ordinary folks who fund union demands with their taxes. The depth of animosity toward public employees is palpable. They keep demanding more until the taxpayers can no longer support them.

obama is closely tied to unions. For years he has openly supported them and worked to expand their role and increase their power. For a growing number of voters, that fact will come into play this November.

By visibly staying away from Wisconsin and mailing his support for Milwaukee Mayor Barrett in at the eleventh hour, obama may have made a crucial mistake. Rank and file union members might now see him as someone who was unwilling to stand up for them in their hour of need. Will they decide to stand up for him when he needs their votes come November’s election?

Make no mistake about it; the result of the Wisconsin recall election is a boost in moral for Republicans nationwide. On the other hand, it is a blow to Democrats, their union supporters and the rest of the institutionalized “progressive” left. Conservatives and the left went three rounds in Wisconsin and the left lost all three.

Whether the “progressive” Democratic Party and their press secretaries in the “progressive” Party Pravda/”mainstream media” want to accept, acknowledge or even report it, the momentum goes to Republicans.

Wisconsin: Tea Party Beats Unions

June 6, 2012

The Tea Party sparked Conservative wave that swept most of the United States in 2010 was a contributing factor in many races, including the elections of Scott Walker, Rebecca Kleefisch and a Republican legislative majority in Wisconsin. Governor Walker and his fiscally Conservative allies in the State House set about enacting the reforms they promised during their campaign. Balancing the State budget without raising taxes, reigning in spending and creating a more business friendly environment where private sector businesses could create jobs.

Once the reforms were enacted, government sector unions went rogue, holding demonstrations, occupying the State House and basically going out of their way to create a ruckus over perceived wrong doings by Walker and his fellow Republicans.

The allegations were that the Republicans had wrongly stripped the public unions of all their collective bargaining “rights”. This allegation was false on multiple counts.

First of all, collective bargaining is not a right. A right is something that is inherent, which belongs to you without costing another. Wielding monopoly bargaining power to extort exorbitant salaries, pensions and benefits in excess of those enjoyed by the taxpayers footing the bill from politicians seeking re-election to office is not a right.

Second, collective bargaining is a negotiating tool, agreed upon by both sidesof the negotiations. A mutually agreed upon negotiating tool, like any such tool, is subject to rejection by one side or the other at any time.

Thirdly, the unions did not lose all their bargaining power. They still retain the ability to collectively bargain for salaries. What changed was their power to collectively bargain over pensions and benefits was removed. Those are budgetary line items that for the State of Wisconsin had reached the point of insolvency. The cost of those pensions and benefits were sending the State of Wisconsin down the fast track to bankruptcy.

In response, every national union in America spent huge bankrolls and invested big muscle in multiple recall attempts within the State of Wisconsin; culminating in the recall attempts against Governor Walker and Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch. In each and every recall attempt, the big, free spending, bullying tactic practicing union failed. The hardest core, institutionalized “progressive” left threw everything they had at Walker, Kleefisch and Wisconsin and fell short. Their noisy, irreverent public displays of selfishness went to no avail.

The win in Wisconsin is a win for the Silent Majority…otherwise known as the Tea Party. Remember them? The “progressive” Party Pravda and “progressive” politicians of all stripes want you to believe they’ve disappeared from the electoral map.

Remember the Tea Party. The ordinary mom and pop citizens who had finally had enough, who got up off the couch, skipped a few of their regularly scheduled activities and demonstrated against big government, big spending, higher taxes and irresponsible regulations.

The Tea Party stood eyeball to eyeball and went toe to toe with the unions in Wisconsin. The Tea Party took the unions’ best punch and won each and every round. Unions and their incessant demands for more of the fruits of the taxpayer’s labor are on retreat in Wisconsin. Unions and their institutionalized “progressive” left allies are on notice. It’s time for them to retreat in America. The people have spoken.

The Tea Party and America are on the rise.

Today’s Top Stories: “progressive” Party Pravda Style

June 5, 2012

On a big day in some States, the day they vote in their primaries, what, according to one of the great bastions of “progressive” propaganda, Yahoo News, are the important stories? Here’s a brief sampling:

Is the GOP ready for a gay candidate?

“Richard Tisei is running for Congress with an unusual resume. He’s a Republican from Massachusetts who is pro-choice, openly gay, and in favor of gay marriage. And yet despite running diametrically opposed to where most of the party is on social issues, Tisei is considered by top Republicans to be one of the top GOP candidates challenging incumbents this election

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/power-players-abc-news/gop-ready-own-gay-candidate-101938870.html

Jonathan Karl, Richard Coolidge & Sherisse Pham should turn themselves in to law enforcement to be tried for the crime of impersonating investigative reporters. If they were even remotely interested in investigating and reporting the truth, they’d already know of the gay Republican club self-entitled: the Log Cabin Republicans. Members of a Los Angeles area chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans actively participated in demonstrations against the passage of obamacare back in 2009. They are very active in politics. This is not new, much less news. In fact, one of their members is currently running for office. They celebrate the fact that Republicans view and accept them as individuals, rather than as part of a victim identity group waiting to be herded by “progressive” hustlers.

‘Sluts’ unite against Republicans, Rush Limbaugh

“Women’s rights activists are banding together to ‘Rock the Slut Vote’ in an online effort to register women to vote and cast their ballots against Republicans in 2012. ‘If the GOP thinks that throwing the word ‘slut’ at us at this point is going to silence women they have another thing coming,’ said Susan McMillan Emry, the site’s founder.

The site aims to ‘re-appropriate’ the word ‘slut’ so that Limbaugh and other Republicans cannot use it to ‘bully and silence women,’ Emry said.

Seriously? How can anyone completely and willfully ignoring the misogyny of “comedian” Bill Maher or “journalist” Ed Shultz expect to be taken for anything but buffoonery? A snow job, a farce? This new “organization” is like a very bad joke made in extremely poor taste. Any bets on whether they’re being directly or indirectly funded by George Soros? This group manages to reach the pinnacle, the ultimate in hypocrisy. Saul Alinsky tactics on full display here: Win at any and all costs, truth be damned.

Bill O’Reilly accuses obama, Clinton of ‘guerrilla theatre’

“Last night Bill Clinton said it would be ‘calamitous’ if Mitt Romney were elected president. And this morning Bill O’Reilly called that ‘insane.’ ‘All of these guys – it’s amusing to me, and I’m sure it is to you, although you would never admit it. It’s all a bunch of theater; it’s guerrilla theater. They run around and they all [say] ‘Romney is going to bring European socialism to the United States.’ Does anyone believe that?’ O’Reilly asked.

Although Clinton didn’t use the word ‘socialism’ in last night’s private New York City fundraiser, he said Romney would be ‘calamitous for our country and the world’ adding that Romney’s economic policy is ‘austerity and unemployment now, and then a long-term budget that will explode the debt when the economy recovers so that interest rates will be so high nobody will be able to do anything.’

O’Reilly questioned how Clinton could know Romney’s policy would explode the debt. He said this election comes down to a very basic choice for voters. ‘Look, the economy is terrible right now. And voters have to decide two things, whether they want to continue to go with Barack Obama’s big top down government stimulation which has not worked so far.’”

What’s George Stephanopoulos’ beef with O’Reilly? Is it that O’Reilly may have inadvertently put the word “socialism” into his buddy Clinton’s mouth? George, you should be ashamed of yourself. It would take hours for a high speed super computer to calculate the quantity of misrepresentations made about Conservatives by ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and other proud, card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda. If O’Reilly did use tongue in cheek sarcasm to ridicule “progressive” tactics, you and your cohorts have decades of intentional bias and conscious smears to make up for. Get real Stephanopoulos.

What these headlines “nudge” readers to believe is that the GOP hates gays and women and that FOX News is willing to employ smear tactics against poor, innocent Bill Clinton.

This is part of a long-term strategy implemented over the years by the institutionalized “progressive” left. The dumbing down of America. Creating a largely illiterate society that depends more and more on suggestive headlines and out of context sound bites for their news.
