The Least Productive Congress…Why?

The institutionalized “progressive” left is at it again.  Consider this headline published by Yahoo News on behalf of Susan Davis, USA Today and ABC OTUS News:

“Congress could be least productive since 1947”

Three of the first four paragraphs of this “headline news” story focus on attacking the Republican majority in the House of Representatives for the recent lack of legislative success.  This is obviously typical of the “progressive” Party Pravda, which never misses an opportunity to parrot messages being dictated by the George Soros funded Media Matters via Valerie Jarrett and the White House.

Statistics are being manipulated and misrepresented by partisan hacks posing as journalists: “Just 61 bills have become law to date in 2012 out of 3,914 bills that have been introduced by lawmakers, or less than 2 percent of all proposed laws,” or “In 2011, after Republicans took control of the U.S. House, Congress passed just 90 bills into law.

It might be statistically true that “Congress is on pace to make history with the least productive legislative year in the post-World War II era,” but to so strongly insinuate that this is the fault of the House Republican majority, as Davis, USA Today, ABC News and Yahoo News do is a lie.  Utter fabrication…pure unadulterated fiction.

Where the article fails completely (that is if you are seeking factual information rather than “progressive” propaganda) is in the “reporting” of why those numbers are so abysmal.

The United States Senate, under the extreme, partisan, rigidly ideological, failed “leadership” of “progressive” Democrat Harry Reid, has blocked, obstructed, ignored or refused to allow a majority of House passed bills to even come to a vote in the U.S. Senate.

How is any bill passed by the House ever to become law if it is completely blocked from discussion or vote in the Senate?

The reason so many people believe the House is to blame for this situation is the lies spread by institutionalized “progressive” shills like Yahoo News, Susan Davis, USA Today, ABC OTUS News and their ilk.

Should the 112^th Congress come to be “defined by partisan divisions and legislative failures”, the blame will rest squarely at the slumping, rounded shoulders of Reid and his “progressive” co-conspirator currently occupying the Oval Office.  The “progressive” Democratic Senate majority has not even passed a budget in three years.  They even voted down the one that came from the Oval Office 97-0.

This is a clear dereliction of duty by the “progressive” Democratic Party.  Thanks to the utter failure of their “progressive” policies, the one and only card left for them to play is using Saul Alinsky style smear tactics against the right attempting to blame the right for problems caused by the left.  This has been the modus operandi of “progressives” since they seized control of the Democratic Party.

The most egregious of lies propagated by the institutionalized “progressive” left is the one put forth by Nancy Pelosi during the TARP debate.  On September 28, 2008 Pelosi placed the blame for the economic collapse entirely on George W. Bush and failed Republican economic policies.

The 2008 financial collapse was a direct result of failed “progressive” social engineering in the U.S. housing market.  For decades the U.S.has  had nothing remotely resembling a free market in residential real estate.  Instead, “progressive” big government created monstrosities Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac controlled over half of all U.S. mortgages.  For twenty years, Conservatives warned about the systemic risk Fannie and Freddie posed to the financial system but they were constantly thwarted by the left.  To this very day, the institutionalized “progressive” left denies the essential part Fannie and Freddie played in creating the housing bubble and causing the financial crisis.

Even at the height of the housing bubble, as the extent of the damage was being revealed, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were still seeking to increase Fannie and Freddie’s role in a market already fettered by “progressive” big government interference.   On behalf of a well-heeled constituency in her congressional district, the liar Nancy Pelosi continued insisting Fannie and Freddie keep the housing bubble going, pushing for their insurance limits to be increased from $417,000 to $700,000 per loan.

Whether in the area of journalism or politics, once the facts are in members of the institutionalized “progressive” left prove themselves to be nothing more than bold faced, willfully deceitful psychopaths unfit to serve in the public arena.

Antonio Villaraigosa: America’s First Latino President?

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is a long-time supporter of the current occupier in chief.  Over the course of the past year Villaraigosa has done no less than 20 official or campaign events on the White House’s behalf.  He will be in the national spotlight when he gavels the opening of the 2012 Democratic National Convention in September.

Questions are already being raised about whether Villaraigosa, mayor of the country’s second largest city and part of the rapidly growing Hispanic population, has presidential aspirations.

“The answer is no.  The job I’ve said to people I would like is I would like to be governor of the state of California” he said.

As did his hero during the 2008 presidential campaign, Villaraigosa demonstrates enough politically savvy to paint himself as a centrist.  He has publically expressed support for the Simpson-Bowles Commission and concerns over the strength of government sector unions.  Much like those of his idol in the White House, Villaraigosa’s expressions of concern are empty rhetoric.

In the state of California, a growing number of cities are teetering on the brink of or have already filed for bankruptcy.  Mammoth Lakes, Vallejo, Stockton, Compton, Bell and San Bernardino are all guilty of mishandling their finances.  They have spent years shuffling monies from fund to fund in attempts to hide huge budget deficits.  The city of Los Angeles is right there with them.

“The enemy is algebra” says San Jose city councilman Sam Liccardo, a Democrat.   “The fact is the unions own the Democratic Party” he said.  Government employee unions call the shots for the Democratic Party in California.  California’s widespread, growing fiscal problems are directly tied to the corrupt quid quo pro relationship between government sector unions, the Democratic politicians they elect, and the ballooning costs of government sector union salaries, benefits and pensions.  “Party orthodoxy is much more strictly enforced at the state level, because the unions decide who wins and who loses” said Liccardo.

There is a solution: San Diego, a California city that is projecting five years of budget surpluses, addressed their biggest fiscal concern by switching most of its government union pensions to a 401(k)-style plan.

Villaraigosa talks tough about fiscal matters and reining in the power of government sector unions, but as mayor of Los Angeles, his actions belied his words.  As mayor of the country’s second largest city, Villaraigosa has never led any such action, has never made any such attempt, never proposed any such policy.

Villaraigosa caused great concern when he openly spoke of bankruptcy in regards to the fiscal future of Los Angeles.  Says Kevin James, a stalwart Republican fiscal Conservative running to replace him: “He says a bankruptcy won’t happen under his watch, but his watch is over in a few months. He didn’t say anything about what happens after that.”

Do not be misled by the centrist smokescreen.  Villaraigosa is as “progressive” as Democrats come, which is to say that he is as much a radical fringe leftist as are House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the current Oval Office occupant.  The outgoing L.A. mayor’s expressed support for Simpson-Bowles is undoubtedly rooted in the Commissions’ willingness to raise taxes…not exactly a trail blazing innovative position for a “progressive” to take.

Villaraigosa has been a corrupt, free spending, fiscally irresponsible mayor in Los Angeles.  Despite protestations to the contrary, there is no evidence to support the conclusion that he would make anything but an equally disastrous choice for either governor or president.

obamacare: Tip of the Iceberg

Since the ruling by the United States Supreme Court on Thursday, June 28, 2012, the big news in America has been how the obama administration, then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid misrepresented the legislation to Congress, the Senate and the public.

It was consistently presented as a cost saving measure that would reduce the size of U.S. national deficits, thus helping pay down the debt, while improving the quality and lowering the costs of healthcare. Insurance premiums would be reduced.  It would provide coverage for uninsured millions.  If you liked the doctor and healthcare plan you had, you would be able to keep them.

Regrettably for American Citizens, with the exception of covering additional people, none of the rest was ever true.  It will add to the deficit and to the debt.  The quality and availability of healthcare will go down.  Existing doctors will retire and fewer prospective doctors will enter medical practice since the rewards will be outstripped by the costs of a medical education.  Insurance premiums have been will continue to rise, leading employers to drop coverage for employees, thereby adding to the likelihood that both your doctor and your plan will change.

It was never explained how a system cited as being too expensive was going to fund a new federal bureaucracy, start covering more people with the same number of facilities and personnel at a lower cost, while saving the nation trillions of dollars.

Now, we have know.  obama, Pelosi, Reid and company all lied. 

Especially obama, who repeatedly pledged to Americans making less than $250,000 that their taxes would never go up.  Not their income tax, not their payroll tax, not their capital gains tax.  None of those taxes would go up, not by one single dime, ever.

Egregious though these examples may be, in the big picture they are only the tip of the iceberg.

•He has violated the individual liberties of all Americans by imposing forced participation in a government healthcare regulatory system without their consent.

•He has collaborated with his Attorney General to ignore equal protection under the law in favor of selective protections based upon arbitrary factors.

•He has violated American bankruptcy laws by willfully denying secured bond holders first payment, in favor of unsecured political supporters.

•He has violated the Constitution by accepting the position of Chairmanship of the UN Security Council.

•He has ignored the Constitutional separation of power by appointing “czars” to oversee matters that are intended to be handled by the legislative branch of the government.

•He has violated the First Amendment right to freedom of the press, by attacking television and radio networks, stations and broadcasters while attempting censorship.

•He has violated the individual’s right to free speech through creation of an email address to report Citizens in a blatant attempt to silence dissent through intimidation.

•He has violated the Law by ignoring the War Powers Act and engaging the United States military in overseas hostilities without the consent of Congress.

•He has violated the First Amendment by attempting to impose restrictions on free speech through implementation of Net Neutrality by the FCC.

•He has endeavored to interfere in the free market through the imposition of The Clean Energy and Security Act, which mandates carbon emissions be reduced to 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020, 42 percent by 2030, and 84 percent by 2050. By 2020, this tax will extract an estimated $160 billion from the economy, or an average $1,870 per family.

•He has violated the Constitution by having the government offer $4,500 rebates to people for turning in older motor vehicles for newer vehicles

•He has interfered in America’s free market by having the National Labor Relations Board sue a privately owned company for planning to open for business in a State that protects an employee’s ability to work free of forced union membership.

•He has interfered in the free market by imposing restrictions and regulations on petroleum, natural gas and coal production in the United States.

•He has abandoned enforcing the security of American borders and protected illegal immigrants from prosecution for violation of immigration laws:

•He has abandoned and insulted our most enduring and faithful allies through speech and action, the most glaring among these being placing the State of Israel on the list of nations that foster terrorism.

•He has sought to impose additional taxes on America without the people’s Consent.

•For depriving American Citizens in some cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury.

•For transferring billions of dollars to enemies of the United States through Foreign Aid.

•For ignoring the Constitutional separation of powers by publicly attacking the Supreme Court of the United States.

•For attacking America’s bedrock family values by ordering the Department of Justice to not defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act.

•For repeated attacks upon America’s Christian foundation.

•For repeatedly slandering American Citizens with false accusations of racism, violent tendencies and hatred.

•For grossly accelerating and increasing the amount of America’s debt through passage of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, which had negligible effect on unemployment, sent billions of dollars overseas and wasted billions domestically by lining the pockets of political cronies while bailing out States guilty of practicing irresponsible budgetary policies.

•For putting America and America’s allies at greater risk through cancellation of missile defense systems.

•For expanding the need for enormous increases in government borrowing,

•For collaborating with his Attorney General to try enemy combatants in civilian Courts.

•For collaborating with his Attorney General and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in the implementation of operation Fast and Furious, which has been implicated in the murder of American Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

•For devaluing America’s currency by engaging in the practice of Quantitative Easing, allowing the Federal Reserve to purchase trillions of dollars of our national debt.

The list could continue.

A president, whose character is thus marked by acts which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to govern a free people.

Race Isn’t Everything, It’s the Only Thing

Contempt of Congress charges are being levied against U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder because he is a champion “supporting measures to overturn these voter-suppression initiatives in the states”.  So says Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

A “progressive” has spoken.  End of story.

It is absolutely inconceivable that contempt of Congress charges could be over secret documents pertaining to the murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.  It certainly could not have anything to do with weapons lost in the botched Fast and Furious gunrunning operation. Not in any way, shape or form.  Not no way, not no how.  Such conclusions are completely out of the question.  To even suggest such possibilities prove beyond all reasonable doubt that you are indisputably a closed minded, razor toothed racist vampire who is exactly like that evil, lily white, ship jobs overseas vulture capitalist Mitt Romney.  You have always been a racist.  You will always be a racist.  Your parents were racists.  Your children will be racists.  You are in love with your racism.  You are proud of your racist views.  You hope your racist views and ways will spread across the country and ideally, the entire world.

Welcome to the “progressive” States of America, where race isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.

Never mind that on the subject of race Eric Holder called the United States “a nation of cowards”.  In case the subtlety escapes you, Holder thinks the entire nation is racist.  Of course for Holder, racists are white by definition.

Forever erase from your memory the fact that Eric Holder dismissed a slam dunk case of voter intimidation committed by member of the New Black Panthers Party in Philadelphia during the 2008 election.  That there are eye witnesses and video evidence showing that they were in uniform, wielding clubs and verbally taunting potential voters proves nothing.

Forget that the U.S. Department of Justice is suing Arizona and other States because they are acting responsibly by protecting U.S. Citizens from invasion.  In the “progressive” States of America, that too is racist.

Ensuring voter integrity in American elections by carefully reviewing voter rolls in order to root out fraudulent votes is forbidden.  To engage in such activity is…yes, you guessed it…racist!

Perhaps it would be a useful to take this exercise to its inevitable conclusion:

If you wear white sneakers instead of ones of color, you must be racist.  If you wear a white t-shirt instead of one of color, you are clearly a racist.  If you drive a white car instead of one of color, you simply must be a proud, long practicing racist…especially if your car has whitewall tires.  Any and all students who write on white notepads instead of ones of color must be racists.  All places of residence where the walls are painted with white paint are populated by racists.  Watching a movie or television show starring Betty White?  Sitting on a white toilet seat?  Using the white pages in the phone book?  Wearing white socks and underwear?  Reading books containing white pages?  Knowing someone whose last name is White?  Using white copy paper?  Those vendors who mail their customers telephone, gas and electric bills in white envelopes?  Drying your hands with a white towel?  Puffy white clouds in the sky?

You guessed it: morally reprehensible.

Considering the clearly racist clothing policy practiced by the Wimbledon tennis tournament, it is easy to understand obama’s resentment towards and dislike for the British.

It would be suitable to refer to an old fable about the boy who cried wolf, but that would open the floodgates for charges of racism over use of the term “boy”.

“progressive” Media Spin Continues Unabated

Consistent with a clear pattern of widespread institutionalized “progressive” left media bias, Yahoo News once again uses headlines to promote their version of the news.  They report that whoever wins the presidency in November will have negligible impact on the economy.

The “news headline” reads:

Poll: Election winner won’t impact economy much.

The story reports on results of a new Associated Press-GfK poll, which shows that half of America says it will not matter which presidential candidate, either barack obama or Mitt Romney wins the White House.  The chances of the winner having much of an impact on jobs creation are seen as slim to none.

Anecdotal testimony is then provided…from a retired policeman, a pre-school teacher and a mechanical engineer who backs obama.

Are not police officers and teachers members of unions, which are strong Democratic supporters?  Were not the police and teacher unions heavily invested, involved and outspoken in favor of Democrats during the recent, hotly contested, highly partisan Governor’s recall election in Wisconsin?  What reason is there then to conclude that this poll sampling and accompanying anecdotal evidence are not tainted by a pre-selected demographic and therefore nothing more than “progressive” spin, intended to create a false impression from which readers are subliminally “nudged” towards reaching a predetermined conclusion?

The telling part of the story that indicates the real problem is largely overshadowed by the way it is lumped in with tainted, biased anecdotal “evidence”:

“Years of disappointing economic news following the 2007-2009 recession have deflated American optimism. And worries about financial troubles in Europe and congressional gridlock at home hang over the future.”

Years of disappointing economic news following the recession are the result of failed policies enacted by an extremely partisan “progressive” Democratic House, Senate and Chief Executive who were dedicated to enacting their radical fringe leftist agenda intended to spur rapid government sector growth while taking over and imposing regulatory controls upon huge portions of the private sector economy.

Financial troubles in Europe can be attributed to decades spent following the same big government tax and spend policies American “progressives” are misrepresenting to the United States as the “solution” to problems caused by big government tax and spend policies.  Crushing the private sector with regulations and taxes, while spending the tax revenues on “entitlement” programs or benefits and salaries for government employees has yet to usher in true European prosperity.  Today’s evidence is quite to the contrary.

Congressional gridlock at home is a consequence of American voters deciding in the 2010 midterm election that having unchecked out of control “progressives” running Washington DC was counter to the nation’s best interests.

A Republican President, working with Republican majorities in the House and the Senate will not be experiencing the gridlock caused by obama’s disastrous, ideologically driven, highly partisan, continuously inflexible “it’s my way or the highway” governing style.

There is pent up anticipation that after years of anti-business, anti-energy, anti-growth, “progressive” policies, resounding Republican victories in November’s races will trigger a bull market on Wall Street, as well as spur business investment and hiring.

Naturally, for card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, whose primary objective is re-election of the current White House occupant, the tainted poll results of a mere 1,007 justifies influencing the decisions of thousands of online readers with headlines based on “progressive” spin masked by highly questionable anecdotal evidence.

Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Part Duh

Apparently suffering the long term effects of habitual Botox abuse, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi again defied the grounding gravity of logic to concoct a thread bare story trying to tie Wednesday’s contempt of Congress proceedings in the House of Representatives to unproven allegations of voter suppression.

“It is no accident; it is no coincidence that the attorney general of the United States is the person responsible for making sure that voter suppression does not happen in our country, that issues that relate to the civil liberties of the American people are upheld.  These very same people who are holding him in contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote.  This is part of the scheme that the right-wing over-the-edge — and I don’t think that all Republicans subscribe to this — but the over-the-edge gang, which dominates the House of Representatives.” said Pelosi in her weekly news conference.

Revealing yet another portion of the chamber of horrors that is her power obsessed mind, Pelosi channeled Hillary Clinton, experiencing a vicarious flashback to Clinton’s infamous “vast right wing conspiracy” moment.

Never mind that there are hundreds of Mexicans and an American Border Control Agent dead as the result of sophisticated automatic weapons ending up in the hands of known, hardened criminals.  It should not matter to voters that this is a result of the current administration’s irresponsible, scandalous Fast and Furious gun walking operation.  Finding out how that happened and who is ultimately responsible for those deaths is not important.

Changing the subject to a fabricated conspiracy theory that attempts to put Republicans on the political defensive, while distracting from “progressive” failures in both the Executive and Legislative branches to address the very real economic problems in America is what matters.

Actor Morgan Freeman has said the effort to clean up voter fraud is all about disenfranchising minority voters: “My point is that women, Hispanics, blacks, there is a large attempt, a great attempt, at disenfranchisement. I mean, it’s right out in the open. I’m not, you know, this isn’t like breaking news or anything. Why is that?”

Forget that in States where voter rolls have been more closely inspected the names of people dead for years, sometimes decades, are discovered to be still on those rolls.  Further investigation of registered voter information has revealed names registered at addresses that turn out to be vacant lots or gasoline filling stations.  Integrity, honesty, accuracy, ensuring that American Citizens retain confidence in the electoral process; none of those require attention.

What is important is to play the race card in a desperate attempt to invigorate sagging voter interest within the “progressive” political base.

If “progressives” are going to insist on continuing their smear campaign against Conservatives with innuendos and unproven accusations of voter suppression regardless of the facts; if “progressives” are going to protect voter registration irregularities at every turn, then Conservatives should start fighting fire with fire.

Since it should now be painfully obvious that partisan “progressive” political interests trump voter integrity, Conservatives should quit crying foul and get in the game.

Conservatives, especially those racist, violent right wing extremists in that fringe radical Tea Party movement, should coordinate with their oh so close, bosom buddies and deep pocketed financiers, the Koch brothers, to fund the importation of millions of Conservative voters from around the world into America.  “progressives” “know” that those evil Koch brothers have enough money to buy the planet several times over, so the funds required to finance such a move will probably come out of petty cash.

Imagine the display of shock, dismay and angst amongst “progressives’ should the White House refuse to grant 800,000 temporary work visas to any of the innocents between the ages of 18 and 30 who through no fault of their own, were brought to America as a byproduct of the operation.

Should “progressives” cry foul over the illegal importation of millions of people who disagree with their “vision for America”, those protestations will unequivocally be based solely upon race hatred, as will all protestations presented against policy initiatives resulting from a Mitt Romney election to the White House.

If “progressives” demand that every voter identify themselves with a photo ID to ensure that Conservative illegal aliens are not using the names of dead people to vote in American elections, the obvious motivate will clearly be a desire to re-institutionalize Jim Crow style voter suppression that enjoyed widespread acceptance among “progressive” Democrats following post-Civil War Reconstruction in the south.

If the “progressive” candidate for office enjoys a slim lead in a hotly contested race, Conservatives should then file lawsuits demanding that “all the votes be counted” to buy themselves enough time to “find” a “somehow misplaced” box stuffed with provisional ballots that swing the election results in favor of the Conservative…then quickly move to have the counting stopped and the election certified.  Ideally, the result of the race would give Conservatives a filibuster proof majority in the U.S. Senate and allow full repeal of the contemptuously passed, ill advised, intentionally misrepresented, clearly misnamed “Affordable” Care Act.

That will be a good first step towards leveling the playing field.

Now can we finally get back to what matters most to the majority of Americans, like where and how to find a job?

David Plouffe: Truth Assassin

Congratulations to Mackenzie Weinger and Reid J. Epstien for accurately reporting the news about White House senior adviser David Plouffe’s trip through television’s Sunday morning talk show circuit. It is truly a pity that Plouffe and those in the White House who oversee his talking points script cannot demonstrate the same accuracy.

Plouffe stated that Republicans want “huge tax cuts for the wealthy, more war, more debt.” As is the case with most “progressive” propaganda, this allegation is completely unsubstantiated.

Republicans, be they Rep. Paul Ryan or GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, have said repeatedly and on the record that their plans are to institute tax reform, not to pass “huge tax cuts for the wealthy”.

The stated Republican position of letting Generals on the ground in combat zones determine the pace of troop withdrawals is more responsible than pulling troops out based on partisan, politically driven timetables. Withdrawing security forces from countries before they are prepared to assume the burden on their own increases the likelihood that future conflicts will arise. It also sends a signal to America’s enemies that the United States is in retreat. Using history as the measure, signaling weakness through retreat only invites further aggression.

Saying Republicans want “more debt” is based on the incorrect “progressive” assumption that higher tax rates result in more revenue to the IRS. This false notion has been so thoroughly discredited that even Plouffe’s boss in the White House admitted tax cuts lead to increased IRS collections, and that plans to hike taxes on the rich were a matter of “fairness”, not to increase revenues. Tax reform that eliminates loopholes and subsidies for those in the highest income brackets, along with a lowering of tax rates across the board will stimulate economic growth and lead to more money going to the IRS. This will lead to less debt, not more.

Plouffe continued with the White House’s aggressive misinformation campaign by stating Republicans “want to return us back to the same policies that caused the recession”. This is the biggest lie of the last four years. One that has been oft repeated since Nancy Pelosi, Barney Franks, Chris Dodd and Harry Reid first started spreading it the day Henry Paulson’s ill-advised, disastrous TARP bill passed through Congress. With the exception of Republican support for a bill to repeal Glass Steagall (a bill that enjoyed bipartisan support in the House and Senate before being signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1999) the legislation that created to the housing bubble was “progressive” social engineering in America’s housing market. That is what caused the world’s 2008 economic crash. The housing bubble that led to global fiscal meltdown is smothered in “progressive” fingerprints. From HUD, to the Community Re-investment Act, to “progressive” support of and Bill Clinton’s signature on the repeal of Glass Steagall, to “progressives” cooking the books at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to “progressive” Senator Dodd and “progressive” Rep. Franks protecting Fannie and Freddie from regulation.

Plouffe said the White House did not declassify national security information recently leaked in news stories. When pressed on the issue of an investigation of the leaks being conducted by two U.S. attorneys, Plouffe stuck to his talking points, repeating “Everyone in our administration is going to cooperate with this investigation”.

Of course, it would be much easier to believe what Plouffe and his boss are saying if they didn’t insist on continuously assassinating the truth in pathological fashion.

Shocking Similarities Concealed

In a televised address to parliament, President Bashar Assad said foreign-backed terrorists and extremists were to blame for the massacres going on in Syria. Despite suspicions expressed by the UN that Assad’s forces are responsible for the Houla massacre, Assad denied it. Syrian opposition condemned his comments as lies.

Assad described protestors as paid killers, ridiculing freedom demonstrators as people not truly looking for reform. The opposition is seeking reform in a country where expressing  dissent often leads directly to arrest and torture. They contend that Assad has offered nothing but cosmetic changes.

A revolt that began as peaceful protests can now only be described as an armed insurgency. This can be attributed to the harsh government crackdown that led protestors to take up arms in self-defense.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, barack obama and many other “progressive”politicians have called the Tea Party “teabaggers”, “racists”, “astroturf”, “Nazis” ” and “extremists” on multiple occasions. The Department of Homeland Security issued a report that described the Tea Party as “right-wing extremists” and”insurgents”, expressing concerns that “Right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities.”

“Violent capacities”?

How much longer will it be before members of Tea Parties are called “paid killers”?

Hasn’t that already happened? Such a description was more than quite heavily inferred by multiple “progressive” politicians and virtually every member of the “progressive” Party Pravda after a nut job who was working solo shot Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Dee “Gabby” Giffords on January 8, 2011.

How soon will members of the “progressive” Democratic Party say that Tea Party members are “not truly looking for reform”?

David Axlerod, obama’s 2012 re-election campaign chief, claimed that the Tea Party “reign of terror” blocked immigration reform. Tea Party efforts to stop “progressive” Democrats from cramming unwanted “healthcare reform” down America’s throat are viewed by “progressives” and their media spokes-tools as “not truly looking for reform”.

How much longer will it take for the United States to become a country where expressing dissent can lead directly to arrest and torture?

According to former FBI agent Larry Grathwohl, Bill Ayers’ Weather Underground Central Committee meant to cause the collapse of the United States government. Ayers and his group would deal with resistant Americans by “establishing re-education centers in the south-west”. Those who refused to convert to Communism, would be “eliminated”. As in: concentration camps would be used to kill 25 million Americans.

Politico’s Ben Smith reported: “In 1995, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced her chosen successor, Barack Obama, to a few of the district’s influential liberals at the home of two well known figures on the local left: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn”.

The Tea Party movement began as a peaceful protest against big government, reckless government spending, high taxes and oppressive regulations. The Tea Party’s Contract From America expressed principles held by its members. The most basic being that “Our moral, political, and economic liberties are inherent, not granted by our government.”

The principles of the Tea Party were clearly expressed in the Contract:

Protect the Constitution, reject Cap & Trade, demand a balanced budget, enact fundamental tax reform, restore fiscal responsibility and Constitutionally limited government in Washington DC, end runaway government spending, defund, repeal and replace government-run health care, pass an ‘all-of-the-above’ energy policy, stop the pork, and stop the tax hikes.

That sounds like people who are truly looking for reform. Just not the type of reform being insisted upon by members of the institutionalized “progressive” left.

Only those dedicated to the overthrow of the United States government would consider a stand for protecting the Constitution, rejecting the UN backed Cap and Trade agenda, demanding a balanced budget, et al “extreme” in their views.

The similarities between what’s happening now in Syria and plans envisioned for America by the institutionalized “progressive” left are both shocking and real. Why are those similarities being concealed by America’s fabled Fourth Estate? The only logical conclusion is that the views held by the “mainstream media” are sympathetic to those of the institutionalized “progressive” left. They are on the same team.

If violence does break out in the United States, it will be due to a harsh government crackdown leading to peaceful protestors having to take up arms in self-defense. God Bless the genius of America’s Founders and their insightful, forward thinking ratification of the Second Amendment. For they knew first hand that of which Tyrants are made.

Throwing Good Money After Bad

The Labor Department reported that the U.S. economy added 69,000 jobs last month, the lowest number since May of last year. Concurrently, the unemployment rate increased for the first time in eleven months. The “official” jobless rate rose to 8.2%. Additionally, it reported that in the past two months 49,000 fewer jobs were created than originally stated. The Bureau of LaborStatistics also revealed that in America, 766,000 fewer women are employed today than in January 2009, when the current administration first took office.

As a result, the U.S. Stock Market dropped. GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney called the news “devastating” and the White House blamed George W. Bush, claiming they “are still fighting back from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression”. The White House keeps insisting that their economic policies are helping America dig out of “the deep hole caused by the recession”.

Three years and five months into his term, barack obama still has no answers as to how to get America’s economy growing at anything faster than a snail’s pace. That’s bad for America. It could also devastate his re-election chances. That prospect is good for America.

Since he took office all obama has done is sign extreme, far left fringe, anti-business, anti-energy, anti-growth “progressive” legislation into law. Bills passed by the ilk of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd or farmed out to the likes of the George Soros funded Tides Foundation. His only personal efforts were appointment of the Simpson Boles Commission, whose suggestions he summarily dismissed, and his budgets, which for the past two years have yet to receive a single vote in the U.S. Senate, which is controlled by his own Party.

The ‘stimulus”, misrepresented as financing for “shovel ready projects”, was, among other wasteful ventures, redistribution of taxpayer’s money to his political cronies involved in mismanaged “green energy” companies. Or to States deep in debt due to over zealous, business killing regulations and historically discredited tax and spend policies. Those States were in desperate need of revenue to pay the bloated cost of pensions and benefits owed to their unionized government employed political campaign financiers and foot soldiers.

obama overstepped his Constitutionally limited power as Chief Executive by interfering in bankruptcy proceeding for GM and Chrysler. The Harvard Law School graduate “determined” that hundreds of years of bankruptcy court precedent would not sufficiently suit his political needs and thereby dictated that the financial interests of secured bondholders would be seized and transferred to his union supporters in the UAW.

his foreign policy has been an utter disaster. Yes, he was convinced by Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta that it would be OK to “get” Osama bin Laden. Something for which obama has been most eager to accept sole credit. But that opportunity was set up by a number of people working within the U.S. intelligence community for close to a decade…not to mention the coordinated effort of U.S. Special Forces and other branches of the military involved in carrying out the operation. Since then, his White House has somehow managed to leak enough information about the top-secret operation to get a friendly Pakistani intelligence operative imprisoned for a few decades. That will certainly provide a most powerful recruiting inducement to potential operatives going “forward”, won’t it? Philosophically driven by a strong desire to shift America’s image in the world away from that created by his predecessor, obama enacted a new doctrine. One that focuses on systematically killing via predator drone rather than capturing the enemy and obtaining useful national security information by submitting them to enhanced interrogation techniques. Better to deprive people of life than to submit them to physical discomfort. Only “progressives” would consider that a move to the moral high ground.

If that’s not enough, his “most significant achievement”, obamacare, is about to be ruled unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The list could go on and on and on…and on, but is it really necessary to list all the committed atrocities about which obama’s opponents are already aware? That his supporters will vehemently deny?

At this point it would be very profitable to play poker with those still donating to obama’s re-election campaign. They seem quite unaware of a mistake that accomplished gamblers vigorously and conscientiously avoid: “Throwing good money after bad.”

Are Republicans to Blame for Washington’s Problems?

In a new book entitled “It’s Even Worse Than It Looks”, author Norman Ornstein (described by Yahoo News, a card carrying member of the “progressive” Party Pravda, as a “scholar”), blames Republican for governance problems in Washington DC. Although Ornstein, shows a flicker of willingness to lay part of the blame at the feet of Democrat’s, “progressive” anti-American bias is clearer than expensive Waterford Crystal.

On video, Ornstein describes it this way: “Democrats have moved left, to probably their own 25 yard line. President Obama’s probably around the 40. The Republicans have moved behind their own goal post.” In an obvious swipe at Tea Party reps and senators, Orenstein said: “I wouldn’t say it’s all Republicans, it’s 80-20 at this point.”

“progressives” have been moving America to the left for at least a century. Today’s totally partisan left wing extremists like obama, Pelosi and Reid have been driving America hard left since they took office. Pelosi and Reid began their latest push in 2007 when they took over “leadership” in the House and Senate. obama joined them in earnest after his 2009 inauguration.

Pelosi, who’s from an extreme leftist Congressional District in the San Francisco area, is as fringe “progressive” as is the district she represents: the birthplace and capitol of the anti-American hippie counter-culture. She responded: “Are you kidding? Are you kidding?” when asked to cite the Constitutional basis for a piece of her legislation.

Reid’s such a partisan hack that to create and support the false narrative of a “do nothing Congress” with his co-conspirator obama, the Senate under Reid’s “leadership” hasn’t passed a budget in over 1,000 days. Thanks to Reid, several dozen bills dealing with jobs, the economy, deficit reduction and reforms passed by the House have been completely ignored by the Senate.

obama’s as fringe left progressive as they come. To say that someone who’s 100% partisan, who sat in the pews of a black separatist (read Marxist) church for twenty years, who by his own admission (in writing) sought out the radicals and the Socialists while in school, who’s father was a Marxist, who’s mother and grandparents were Communists, who’s boyhood mentor was a card carrying member of the American Communist Party, who has appointed the most extreme, out of the American mainstream radicals to be his czars…to say that this individual is anything but an extremist is as intellectually dishonest as is humanly possible.

This is the trio who, after whining about obama’s predecessor having added $5 trillion to the national debt in eight years, increased that debt by over $5 trillion in under four. This is the bunch that passed their “stimulus” bill, which stole from taxpayers to pay off their political cronies on Wall Street, in unions, with “green energy” company fronts and former campaign donors/bundlers. obama openly joked about the “shovel ready” jobs the “stimulus” bill was “intended” to fund weren’t so “shovel ready” after all. Lest America forget, this is the gang who, despite loud public outcries against it by a majority of the people, used secret payoffs and backroom deals agreed to in the dead of the night behind closed doors to shove government controlled healthcare down America’s throat.

Orenstein calls what these people have done moving to their own 25-yard line, or in obama’s case, to the 40? He alleges that Republicans have moved behind their own goal post? Does Orenstein expect to be taken seriously? Under what form of delusion must one be suffering in order to plead such a case?

The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, the founding documents of the United States, are unsurpassed in the freedoms, rights, and opportunities they secure for the people. That there are elected Republicans who want to follow the recipe for successful governance bequeathed upon America by its founders means they either want to prevent America from being driven farther to the left, or return America to where it’s supposed to be.  Following the Constitution.  It’s really that simple.

Although it clearly wasn’t Orenstein’s intent, in a strange, almost perverse way it’s good to see a member of the institutionalized “progressive” left publicly acknowledges that some elected officials in the USA are still American. For Orenstein, his philosophical teammates and their march in lock-step “progressive” followers, that fact is seen as a negative.

Thanks to “progressives”, the most divisive, partisan, uncompromising group of politicians to exist in the past century, America is deeply divided. Either you’re an American or you’re a “progressive”. You cannot be both.
