Barack Obama stopped in Burma, which he insisted as a “diplomatic courtesy” on calling Myanmar (perhaps pronouncing Pakistan Pahhhkeeeestaan no longer makes him cool enough for the UN), where he managed to repeatedly mispronounce the name of Aung San Suu Kyi, the Nobel winner who led the fight for a free, democratic Burma.  If that was not embarrassing enough for America, Obama also managed to botch the name of President Thein Sein, his official Burma host.

Were any corpse-men around to carry off members of the press?  Those members of the institutionalized “progressive” left who were mortified and humiliated by each faux pas?

You can bet NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN failed to report the botching…The New York Times too.

Had such a diplomatic faux pas been committed by a Conservative president the “mainstream media” would be screaming their outrage and leaping on the ridicule bandwagon.

Of course the New York Times was too busy distorting the truth with Paul Krugman’s Op-Ed fairytale “The Twinkie Manifesto” to accurately report the failings of their dear, beloved leader.

Krugman’s mind, displaying clear symptoms of acute “progressive thinking” disorder, made a remarkable leap to the conclusion that Conservative orthodoxy believes the pathway to prosperity lies in demeaning workers and coddling the rich.

He dismissed the Simpson-Bowles Commission for accurately concluding that lower tax rates lead to lower deficits.  Overlooking historical evidence to the contrary, Krugman concluded the healthy American economy during the 1950s was a product of the 91 percent tax rate on top bracket income earners.  He fostered the preposterous notion that the high-tax rates of the decade that followed World War II were responsible for America’s economic growth.

The economic growth of the 1950s was due primarily to the fact that during World War II the rest of the industrialized world had been bombed into rubble, especially their manufacturing capacities.  While the rest of the world was recovering from that condition, America enjoyed a decade of prosperity because American industries had no serious competition.  The world bought American goods because nobody else made much of anything worth buying.  With such conditions leading to an American economic boom, the economy was able to sustain itself and grow despite the unnaturally high tax rates imposed on business; rates that had financed the titanic war effort.

Krugman’s economic insanity was matched by that of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who said on Friday that Congress should remove legal limits on government borrowing and lift America’s debt limit to infinity.

During an interview on Bloomberg TV, when asked by “Political Capital” host Al Hunt Geithner if “we ought to just eliminate the debt ceiling,” Geithner replied: “Oh, absolutely.”

So, according to Paul Krugman of The New York Times and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, America taxing businesses into oblivion and eliminating all restraints on spending will lead to economic prosperity.

The “progressive” insanity does not stop at America’s shores.

In Congress the Obama administration is on the ropes for having administration appointees change the CIA talking points regarding the 9/11 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.

According to Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), chairman of the House intelligence committee, “There was not an intelligence failure.  The intelligence community had it right, and they had it right early. What happened was it worked its way up through the system of the so-called talking points, which everyone refers to, and then it went up to what’s called a deputy’s committee…It went to the so-called deputy’s committee, that’s populated by appointees from the administration.  That’s where the narrative changed.  And so how that thing got back to (Susan) Rice, I think, is probably another question.”

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.), the vice chair of the Senate intelligence committee, said that he had tried to discover who changed the talking points:

“At the hearing we had on Thursday and Friday, we had every leader of the intelligence community there, including folks from the State Department, the FBI — everybody there was asked, ‘Do you know who made these changes?’ And nobody knew. The only entity that reviewed the talking points that was not there was the White House.  So, you know, I don’t know whether — what they said yesterday is exactly right or not. But, what I do know is that every member of the intelligence community says that references to al Qaeda were removed by somebody, and they don’t know who. And references to attacks versus demonstrations were removed by somebody.”

While the Obama re-election campaign and White House operatives followed the Alinsky model that the ends justify the means and changed talking points to support the false narrative coming out of the Democratic National Convention that Al Qaeda had been smashed, the Middle East drifted into more dangerous territory.

Not only did Hamas resume launching hundreds of Iranian made missiles into Israel, they were joined in that effort by Egypt.

In response, Israel readied forces to launch and ‘significantly expand’ an offensive if necessary.

On Sunday, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stiff warning to Hamas.  He declared the Israeli army was prepared to widen its Gaza offensive significantly.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry reinforced Netanyahu’s statements by confirming that if rocket attacks persisted, a ground offensive into Gaza was likely.  Speaking to France 24, Ygal Palmor stated that “Our sole aim of this offensive is to make Hamas stop firing rockets. We have used air strikes but if that’s not enough then we may contemplate ground operations as well.”

To round out the insanity of the left, the war on Christianity continues in America.

The City of Santa Monica is being sued over freedom of speech after choosing to end the city’s holiday tradition of displaying Nativity scenes.

Said Hunter Jameson, head of the nonprofit Santa Monica Nativity Scene Committee that is behind the law suit: “It’s a sad, sad commentary on the attitudes of the day that a nearly 60-year-old Christmas tradition is now having to hunt for a home, something like our savior had to hunt for a place to be born because the world was not interested.”

National atheist groups, responding to Catholic activism against women’s healthcare issues imposed by Obamacare, paid for newspaper ads and TV spots in their latest salvo in the war against Christianity in America.

Atheist tactics have shifted to an insistence that their views be given equal placement alongside holiday displays conveying the Christian message.  Previously, atheists had sought to enforce separation of church and state via the courts.

The alleged leader of the free world is so reliant on his teleprompter that in the midst of an historic diplomatic mission he does not know what he is saying.  The eager, obedient lap-dogs in the “progressive” Party Pravda have joined with so-called academics to re-write American history in favor of their radical, anti-American agenda.  As it is happening, the Obama administration is revising history to suit their political needs because they know a criminally negligent media which places taking sides before reporting the truth will not challenge them.  America is speeding towards bankruptcy while the world becomes more unsafe and “progressives” offer no viable answers.  Despite the 75 percent of America who celebrate Christmas, they are being forced by aggressive fringe minorities to confront demands for a secular, multicultural society.

If ever there was a time for Conservatives to unite and draw a line in the sand against the encroachment of the institutionalized “progressive” left’s insanity, this is it.

Penitentiary President

Why is Barack Obama about to be sworn in for a second term instead of being fingerprinted and booked into a federal penitentiary?

There are at least three people who may eventually be able to respond to that question.

In a joint press conference, three Republican senators said the only way for Congress to get to the bottom of what happened during the Benghazi terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate resulting in four American deaths, including that of Chris Stevens, the American Ambassador to Libya, was to form a Select Committee.

During the press conference, Senators John McCain R-AZ, Lindsey Graham R-SC and Kelly Ayotte R-NH stated that the bloody 9/11 terrorist attack crosses the jurisdictions of the Armed Services, the Intelligence and the Foreign Relations Committees.   They concluded that a Select Committee was required in order for each investigator to hear all the testimony from administration officials scheduled to appear before those three committees.

Graham included resigned CIA Director David Petraeus among those needing to testify: “I’d like to ask General Petraeus some questions.”  McCain also stated Petraeus would be a “very important witness for a Select Committee.”  In addition to Petraeus, the senators called for Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to appear.

Graham noted there was precedent for setting up just such a committee, reminding the press of similar committees established to investigate the Watergate and Iran-Contra scandals.

The three senators will officially introduce a Senate resolution calling for the formation of the committee.

Not surprisingly, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid D-NV said he would not support the formation of a Select Committee.

Reid is not the only one intent on obstructing the truth.

An obviously negligent American media has intentionally hidden a string of deliberate lies coming from the Obama administration.  They have willfully propagated the White House’s faux reality about what led to the ruthless slaughter of four Americans.

Why were four Americans abandoned to fate without any attempt to rescue them?  Why the misrepresentations and multiple conflicting stories coming from the State Department, the CIA and the FBI?  Why were Ambassador Stevens and three others callously left to die?  Why were terrorists allowed to hunt Americans down like dogs?

The media malpractice regarding coverage of the 9/11 Benghazi terrorist attack is not the only shameful behavior.

Obama and his administration have repeatedly claimed the attack resulted from a spontaneous demonstration sparked by anger at an anti-Islamic video nobody had heard of, much less seen.  This bogus claim has been made repeatedly.  UN Ambassador Susan Rice appeared on five Sunday morning talk shows making the phony claim that the best intelligence available up to that point was that the attack was sparked by this unknown video.  If that was not enough, speaking before the UN General Assembly on September 25th Obama blamed the same video six times.

That the administration actively endeavored to squash any notion this could have been a deliberately planned terrorist attack timed for the anniversary of 9/11 is no surprise.  Such an admission would have conflicted with the Obama re-election campaign’s fairy tale narrative that Al Qaeda had been pulverized, terrorism was on the run and his rudderless foreign policy initiatives were making America safer and more respected throughout the world.

Where was the “mainstream media?”

Where was the investigative reporting about the series of attacks carried out in April and June by militants in Benghazi against the U.N., the Red Cross, the U.S. consulate, and the British consulate?  Where were the disclosures about the requests from Ambassador Stevens and others for additional security?  Where was the story about how those requests had been denied?

How could the White House national security team watch the attack in real time, yet neglect to call in back-up support from the U.S. military?  Why did the White House hide the fact that within two hours of the start of the assault they were notified via email that a terrorist group linked to al Qaeda had claimed credit for the attack?

In light of these as yet unanswered questions, a Select Committee is more than appropriate.

If Harry Reid and the so called mainstream media insist on obstructing the truth, they should join members of the current Administration.

No Change, No Hope

While the “progressive” Party Pravda is dutifully focused on distracting Americans with stories about the tragic resignation of former CIA Director David Petraeus,  the White House goes merrily along with its anti-growth, anti-business, anti-energy, radical fringe leftist “progressive” agenda.  The Barack Obama administration is now making plans for the next phase in fundamentally transforming America into a second rate European style slow growth high unemployment socialist state.

Nothing has changed from the last two years of Obama’s reign of terror.  In Harry Reid, Obama retains a “progressive” Democratic Senate majority leader who shares his radical fringe leftist ideology.  In the House of Representatives, Obama faces a Republican majority led by Speaker of the House John Boehner.  For the past two years, the House has refused to budge on tax hikes, one of a number of lusted for items on the “progressive” Holy Grail wish list.

Since Obama ran a class warfare, racial and gender dividing, hit man Chicago style smear re-election campaign, nothing but more of the same can be reasonably expected in his second term.

Evidence, in first meeting on Tuesday, he meets with Mary Kay Henry-SEIU, Lee Saunders-AFSCME, Dennis Van Roekel-NEA, Rich Trumka-AFL-CIO, Neera Tanden-Center for American Progress, John Podesta-Center for American Progress, Bob Greenstein-Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Laura Burton Capps-Common Purpose Project, Max Richtman-National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, Justin Ruben-MoveOn, and Deepak Bhargava-Center for Community Change.

These are Obama’s ideological soul mates.  Their priorities are to further their radical fringe leftist “progressive” agenda.

On Wednesday, Obama meets with Mark Bertolini, president, chairman and CEO of Aetna, Ursula Burns, chairman and CEO at Xerox, Kenneth I. Chenault, chairman and CEO for American Express, David Cote, chairman and CEO at Honeywell, Mike Duke, president and CEO of Walmart, Jeff Immelt, chairman and CEO for General Electric, Andrew Liveris, president, chairman and CEO of Dow Chemical, Robert McDonald, president and CEO at Procter & Gamble, Alan Mulally, president and CEO for Ford Motors, Indra Nooyi, chairman and CEO at PepsiCo, Ginni Rometty, president, chairman and CEO of IBM, andJohn Watson, chairman and CEO for Chevron.

These are the huge multinational corporations that have supported Obama while he has repeatedly accused Republicans of being in the pocket of huge multinational corporations.

They are also the companies that are big enough to survive the economic destruction brought about by Obama’s economic policies.

Can you say “too big to fail”?

Before he bothers to meet with Congressional leaders to discuss how to reach a “compromise” that will result in the United States avoiding the fiscal cliff, Obama has arranged his schedule so as to meet with his ideological Marxist brethren as well as his financial backers and yes men.

Together, they will calculate how to insist on their “my way or the highway” demands while appearing reasonable to low information voters who obtain their “news” from “progressive” Party Pravda sound-bites and headlines.

There will be little to no real negotiations with House Republicans.  They will be told what they have consistently been told by this administration.  “We won.  We are going to do it our way.”

When America goes over the fiscal cliff, Obama and his mob of ideological lunatics will sing a full throated chorus of “It’s all Republican’s fault” and get away with it because the “progressive” Party Pravda will march in lockstep with their Marxist overlords and tell the public what Obama wants them to believe.

Unless something changes, nothing will change.  Without changing this equation, there will be no hope in America.

Have you ever wondered where MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times, Newsweek, Time Magazine et al get their talking points?

It is difficult to determine if Chris Matthews is America’s answer to Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey or Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey is Russia’s answer to Chris Matthews.

Pravda.ru, Russia’s online neo-KGB government controlled news site, sounds troublingly like what can be found online at Yahoo News, MoveOn.org the Daily Kos or Media Matters.

Or is it the other way around?

Consider some excerpts from Bancroft-Hinchey’s piece on the upcoming U.S. presidential election.  Quite presumably referring to writers for National Review, The Wall Street Journal etcetera or people who appear on FOX News, he ponders:

“There are those who somehow manage to get their articles printed in reputable international newspapers, claiming that a vote for Obama is a vote for “murder” or “destroying America” or “lack of freedom” but then again there are those who trick their way into the homes of the stupid and gullible selling dreams and promising the Earth in exchange for a pay-check or a pledge to clean the windows once a month.”

Then Bancroft-Hinchey makes a claim that is repeated ad nauseum by “progressive” pundits who actually appear multiple times a day on FOX News:

“They never turn up again, just like the “birther” tsunami which peaked a few months ago and has whittled down to nothing after being shouted down from all sides of the political spectrum. The “birthers” claimed that President Obama was not eligible to stand for office, despite the fact that he would have been vetted by everyone, by every newspaper and journalist, from the day they announced he was a candidate.”

Apparently propagating revisionist history is practiced by both the Russian Pravda and America’s “progressive” Party Pravda.

Of course, as America’s “progressive” Party Pravda does with vigor, Russia’s Pravda relishes bashing Romney with straw-man arguments.  Long a staple of radical fringe left extremists world-wide:

“These same people support Mitt Romney. Who? You know, the gaffe guy, the one who opens his mouth and insults people, or accuses them of things they never did. In short, a foul-mouthed oaf, a wannabe President with no credentials beyond the Governorship level.”

Never mind that Obama’s credentials going in to the 2008 race were being a community organizer, an invisible State Senator from Illinois and a first term junior U.S. Senator who began running for the presidency almost immediately after taking up residence in the Beltway.

Then, in true “progressive” form…wait, this is from Russia.  In true Communist form, Moscow’s Pravda throws up the classic red herring argument by comparing Romney to George W. Bush:

“Mitt Romney, without this competence, without Barack Obama’s skills, wants to be there, and so do those ousted elements from the Bush regime dying to get back in. Rumour has it that Senator McCain is ear-marked for Secretary of State. Ask a Nam Veteran what they think of McCain and then decide whether this Bush regime remnant is the perfect external image of the US of A.

Governor Romney’s position in the Peter Principle is…Governor Romney. Not President Romney. Everyone knows it, the Obama freeze in debate number one gave rise to some flights of fantasy (OK Barack Obama is better at being President than debating maybe, and so?)…and so we can conclude that he is better at handling the extremely difficult conditions bequeathed to him by the Republican Bush regime than at making an idiot of himself in televised debates getting everything wrong, as Mitt the Twit does.”

Mitt the twit? No doubt the likes of George Stephanopoulos or Brian Williams wish they could work for MSNBC or Current TV so they could use such language.  For these proud, card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, it must be discouraging having to conform to broadcast media standards.

Russia’s Pravda falls short of accusing Republicans of wanting dirty air, dirty water or seeking to leave old people and special needs kids to fend for themselves.  Instead, they choose to attack the GOP in their own unique style:

“Right, same old, same old Grand Old Party. The same Grand Old Party which just four years ago had the United States of America synonymous with sodomy, illegal detention, rape, urination in food, sleep deprivation, murder, torture, water-boarding, concentration camps…”

Then, there is one last swipe at Romney:

Pelosi, Reid, Obama and other “progressives” called the Tea Party “teabaggers”, “racists”, “astroturf”, “Nazis” ” and “extremists”. The Department of Homeland Security described the Tea Party as “right-wing extremists” and ”insurgents”, saying “Right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities.”

How long before members of Tea Parties are called “killers”?

Hasn’t that already happened? It was more than heavily inferred by the “progressive” Party Pravda after a nut job working solo shot “Gabby” Giffords.

How long before expressing dissent leads directly to arrest and torture?

Bill Ayers’ Weather Underground Central Committee meant to cause the collapse of the United States government. Ayers and his group would deal with resistant Americans by “establishing re-education centers in the south-west”. Those who refused to convert to Communism would be “eliminated”. As in: concentration camps would be used to kill 25 million Americans.

“Congress could be least productive since 1947”

The story attacks the Republican House for a lack of legislative success.  This is typical of “progressives” who never miss an opportunity to parrot messages dictated by the George Soros funded Media Matters via Valerie Jarrett and the White House.

It might be statistically true that “Congress is on pace to make history with the least productive legislative year in the post-World War II era,” but to insinuate this is the fault of the House Republican majority is fiction.

The U.S. Senate, under the failed “leadership” of “progressive” Harry Reid, has refused to allow a majority of House passed bills to even come to a vote in the U.S. Senate.

The reason so many believe the House is to blame for this are the lies spread by “progressive” shills like Yahoo News, USA Today, ABC News and their ilk.

Should the 112th Congress come to be “defined by partisan divisions and legislative failures”, the blame will rest squarely on Reid and his “progressive” co-conspirator in the Oval Office.  The “progressive” Senate majority has not even passed a budget in over three years.  They even voted down the one from the White House 97-0.  This is a clear dereliction of duty.

Thanks to the utter failure of their “progressive” policies, the only card left for them to play is vintage Saul Alinsky, blaming the right for problems caused by the left.  This has been the M O of “progressives” since they seized control of the Democratic Party.

The most egregious of lies propagated by the institutionalized “progressive” left is the one spoken by Nancy Pelosi during the TARP debate.  On September 28, 2008 Pelosi laid the blame for the economic collapse entirely on George W. Bush and failed Republican policies.  Sound familiar?  Obama’s using it against Romney daily.

The 2008 financial collapse was a direct result of failed “progressive” social engineering in the U.S. housing market.  For decades the U.S. has had nothing remotely resembling a free market in residential real estate.  Instead, “progressive” big government created monstrosities Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac controlled over half of all U.S. mortgages.  For twenty years, Conservatives warned about the systemic risk Fannie and Freddie posed to the financial system but they were constantly thwarted by the left.  To this very day, the institutionalized “progressive” left denies the essential part Fannie and Freddie played in creating the housing bubble and causing the financial crisis.

Whether in the area of journalism or politics, once the facts are in members of the institutionalized “progressive” left prove themselves to be nothing more than bold faced, willfully deceitful psychopaths unfit to serve the public.

Be it Fast and Furious, the Benghazi terrorists, fudging the poll numbers or lying about the rate of inflation and unemployment, the so-called mainstream media is lying through its teeth to protect Obama and help his re-election.  Enough!  It is time to rage against the media!

For the better part of his time in the national spotlight, the current White House occupant, with a major assist from obedient “progressive” Party Pravda puppies so eager for approval from their anointed one they have adopted criminally negligent journalistic practices, has meticulously hidden his racist self.

Obama’s appointee for Attorney General Eric Holder, the man who said when it comes to race America is a nation of cowards, stopped a very clear cut case of voter intimidation by the New Black Panther Party dead in its tracks.

The Department Of Justice did not prosecute the New Black Panthers for voter’s rights violations, but they did sue the State of Arizona for enforcing border security.  They have sued states to stop enforcement of voter ID laws.

The hypocrisy is palpable.

Republican Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King must be rolling in his grave.

Where applicable, thank God he gave you enough grace, intelligence and common sense to remain open to hearing both sides, uncover the truth and see through the fraud that is Barrack Hussein Obama.  You were able to use your God given cognitive abilities to evaluate and judge him not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.

You can proudly say that you never voted for him.

Is This Really What America Wants?

On Wednesday U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton finally admitted al Qaeda in North Africa was behind the terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, where the American ambassador and three others were murdered.

Clinton’s statements further muddied the administration’s fumbled explanations about exactly what happened on Sept. 11.  For purely partisan political reasons, Barack Obama’s administration has denied terrorist involvement in the Benghazi attack.

To ever admit that the United States is still involved in fighting a war against al Qaeda flies in the face of Obama’s re-election campaign strategy of showcasing the killing Osama bin Laden and the debilitation of Al Qaeda.

Remember Vice President Joe Biden shouting from the Democratic National Convention stage: “Osama bin Laden is dead and GM is alive”?

To hear “progressive” politicians and their obedient sock puppets in the “progressive” Party Pravda tell it, to put two and two together and reason that al Qaeda had access to technology which allowed them to watch the DNC convention, hear what was said and plot a 9/11 revenge is angry, bigoted, conspiratorial racist hate speech from violent right wing extremists who cannot stand having a black man in the Oval Office.

It could not possibly have anything to do with the fact that his domestic and foreign policies can be defined as “man caused disasters”.

While taking care of extremely important, top priority re-election business on a daytime television talk show, Obama cautioned the ladies that describing the incident was impossible due to an ongoing FBI investigation.  However, more than two weeks after the fact, FBI agents are still not in Benghazi, much less at the crime scene conducting an investigation.

The more America learns about the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Benghazi consulate, the more it looks like a complete security failure and a calculated government cover-up.

This foreign policy sleight of hand deceit matches the consistent pattern of “evolving” economic news at home.

The latest economic reports reveal that second quarter GDP growth was revised down from 1.7 percent to 1.25 percent.  New orders for U.S. manufactured durable goods fell in August by the most in 3-1/2 years, the biggest drop since January 2009.  This clearly indicates a sharp slowdown in factory activity.

From Benghazi to an Ohio manufacturing facility, the strategy and tactics are always the same.  Make the news sound better that it is then enlist your multiple press secretaries within the “mainstream media” to put that “ news” on the front page of the paper, make it a magazine cover story, or put it on as breaking news television.

When far fewer people are paying attention, have those same media minions disclose the truth in a far less prominent place and in a far less spectacular manner.

Today’s Yahoo/ABC Hit Piece

Yahoo News and ABC News, two dependable card carrying members of the “progressive” Party Pravda, completely ignore spreading violence in the Islamist world, the White House cover up of the Benghazi consulate terrorist attack and Barack Obama’s decision to appear on a daytime talk show rather than meet with world leaders.

Nothing to see here folks, keep moving along.

Instead, they focus the Yahoo website headline on attacking GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.  This is done by using an ABC News/Washington Post poll to “report” that criticism of Romney’s campaign has grown.  The poll of 1,012 adults claims that sixty-one percent of those asked rated his efforts negatively.  Poll results show that number has risen by twelve percentage points since mid-July.

The poll also shows that a majority of Americans have an unfavorable view of Romney’s comments about the forty seven percent who pay no income taxes.

The article then gushes all over Obama’s positive grades for handling his presidential campaign.

Leave it to the “progressive” Party Pravda to use their online footprint to “nudge” voters leftward in Obama’s direction based solely on polling information about how the two candidates are running their campaign.

Never mind the lack of jobs.  Never mind the consistently high unemployment, never mind pocket book crippling inflation at the grocery store, the gas pump, or on the family electricity bill.  Forget about the rising cost of college tuition or escalating healthcare premiums.  That there are Islamist countries around the globe burning American flags, burning Obama in effigy, while attacking American embassies and consulates is not important.  Having four Americans, including the ambassador to Libya, butchered in a premeditated terrorist attack on 9/11 is just a “bump in the road”.

What is important is to indoctrinate low information voters into judging the two presidential candidates based on how a handful of voters, carefully selected by ABC News and the Washington Post, view the way the two candidates are running their campaigns.

That makes understanding the presidential race more like watching American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, something those who are not fortunate enough to be included among the “intellectual elite” can comprehend.

Of course, if you believe those 1,012 voters have in no way been influenced by the openly biased reporting of Yahoo News, ABC News and the Washington Post you are seriously prone to stating that Brian Williams is a straight shooter…and to buying more snake oil from a certain salesman hailing from Hawaii, by way of Indonesia, by way of Chicago.

To Obama, Mid-East Violence and Murders: “Bumps in the Road”, Israel: “Noise”

In comments made during a CBS ’60 Minutes’ interview, Barack Obama described violent attacks on embassies in the Middle East and the murder of US ambassador Chris Stevens and three others, as “bumps in the road”.

When asked if recent events in the Middle East had changed his outlook on supporting the Arab Spring, Obama responded: “Well, I’d said even at the time that this is going to be a rocky path. The question presumes that somehow we could have stopped this wave of change.  I think it was absolutely the right thing for us to do to align ourselves with democracy, universal right, a notion that people have to be able to participate in their own governance.   But I was pretty certain and continue to be pretty certain that there are going to be bumps in the road because, you know, in a lot of these places, the one organizing principle has been Islam.”

A coordinated military maneuver, confirmed by the head of the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center as a terrorist attack, that employed rocket propelled grenades and other heavy weapons, which was launched on the anniversary on 9/11 against an American embassy that directly led to the death of four Americans, including an ambassador, is a “bump in the road”?

During the interview, Obama admitted that his campaign ads had made mistakes, but somehow, CBS News didn’t find that piece of information newsworthy enough to share with their viewers.

When asked if he was disturbed by fact checkers proving assertions in his ads were untrue, Obama responded:  ”Do we see sometimes us going overboard in our campaign, are there mistakes that are made, areas where there is no doubt somebody could dispute how we are presenting things? You know, that happens in politics.”

That happens in politics when a campaign cannot run on its record in office, is so desperate to win that it deems it necessary to employ every long used dirty “progressive” smear tactic and suffers from a severe shortage of ethics, morals and socially redeeming qualities.

Remember when the United States was unquestionably Israel’s strongest ally?  Not anymore.  According to Obama, Israel is merely “one of our closest allies in the region”.

Since his inauguration, Obama has attempted to appease the Islamist world with an “even-handed” approach.  Now Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has serious doubts about American resolve to stand behind Israel.

For his part, Obama admitted to viewing Netanyahu’s requests for the U.S. to take a harder stance against Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons as “noise” he must ignore when making American security decisions.

Is it sheer coincidence that the exact same word was used to describe Israel by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?   “I have spoken about this topic at length, previously. We generally speaking do not take very seriously the issue of the Zionists and the possible dangers emanating from them. Of course they would love to find a way for their own salvation by making a lot of noise and to raise stakes in order to save themselves. But I do not believe they will succeed. Iran is also a very well recognized country and her defensive powers are very clear.”

Is this any way for America to conduct foreign policy?  Does having cities in twenty different countries descend into weeks of anti-American violence and murder sound like a “bump in the road” or more like just cause for alarm?  Does treating long-time ally Israel like they are simply “one of our closest allies in the region” sound like a recipe for successfully enlisting new allies in the future?  Is this what Americans view as making America safer?  Is this what Americans see as elevating America’s standing in the world view?

Is it accidental that a large number of Americans who are currently engaged in early voting are oblivious to this information?

America deserves better than this, does it not?

Unmistakable Patterns of Deceit

New Jobless claims hit the 382,000 mark as once again, more Americans filed jobless claims than was originally forecast.  It was revealed that six million middle class voters, more than first estimated, will be hit by the tax penalty for not getting insurance under Obamacare.  When the new regulations in Obamacare are added to existing federal regulations, American taxpayer and business costs will increase by $1.8 trillion annually, a number that exceeds the original estimates proffered by the Obama the administration by a factor of twenty.  That means twenty times the original estimates is the correct answer.

Beginning to see the pattern there?

When asked in 1995 to explain his vision of democracy, Obama said:

“I think that recapturing the spirit that existed not just in the civil-rights movement but in the union organizing movement, in the populous movement. I think there is a running thread; one of the better angels of our nature in this country which has been the notion that, you know, we can sit around the table and find common ground and make democracy work in the way that it should be working.  It’s not popular right now to say that, and to believe in sort of a common good, but I think that notions of a common good are the glue that hold our society together and make democracy possible.”

When Obama was asked if he is “willing to stake your political career on your common ground?” he replied “That’s the core of my faith.”

Is it for the “common good” that the administration and its media lapdog puppets have lied to the American public about unemployment numbers, and the impact and costs of federal regulations, including the much ballyhooed Obamacare?

The U.S. Embassy in Pakistan is under siege.  Protests in Indonesia have forced the American consulate to shut down for a second consecutive day.  In Afghanistan, hundreds have taken to the street chanting anti-American slogans.  In Iran, equal numbers are chanting “Down with the U.S.”

The Prime Minister in Iraq has condemned the United States for an obscure anti-Islamist video trailer posted on YouTube.  The very same video the Obama administration made great efforts to solely blame for what they described as “spontaneous” protests in the Islamist world.  That would be multiple voices at the highest levels of the Executive Branch…for days.

Now it has been revealed by witnesses “that there was never an anti-American protest outside of the consulate [in Benghazi, Libya]. Instead, they say, it came under planned attack. That is in direct contradiction to the administration’s account of the incident.”

What gets reported by the “mainstream media”?  The same media found culpable of intentionally misleading the public on important policy matters that affect all Americans?

Thursday morning September 20, 2012 the top headline on Yahoo News: Pawlenty quits as Romney campaign co-chair.

The subtext under that headline: The move came with Romney’s campaign struggling with just seven weeks before election-day.

This is a case in point that clearly illustrates unmistakable bias against GOP nominee Mitt Romney.

The article opens by stating that “Tim Pawlenty quit as co-chair of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign on Thursday to become one of Wall Street’s top lobbyists in Washington. Pawlenty, a former governor of Minnesota, will lead the Financial Services Roundtable.”

Notice the phrase “quit as co-chair”.  Why was it not: “resigned as co-chair”?  Note that the article ensures that in the very first paragraph readers are told that the quitter Pawlenty is going to “become one of Wall Street’s top lobbyists in Washington.”

How, exactly, do Oliver Knox and Yahoo News know that Pawlenty will “become one of Wall Street’s top lobbyists in Washington”?

If Olivier Knox and Yahoo News are truly so proficient at forecasting the future, why are they not using this supernatural power to clue America in on how to solve its myriad of problems at home and abroad?

Of course, since they do not actually possess such abilities, this ensure Obama gets re-elected at all costs (even costs to whatever remnants of journalistic integrity remain in America) hit piece is reduced to further efforts to diminish the GOP through hyping the already failed “progressive” spin that “Romney’s campaign has been grappling with a video showing him seemingly writing off Obama supporters as having a “victim” mindset and being reliant on government handouts.”
